Create your own sandwich!
When you go to Subway or Quiznos, on the menu there are many different types of subs and sandwiches listed. When you go to order one, however, you are asked what you’d like in your sandwich. Don’t you find that odd? I mean if they’ve named their sandwiches all particular names and listed particular ingredients, shouldn’t that be what I’d like in my sandwich? I understand that some people don’t like certain ingredients; however, if that’s the case, shouldn’t they just list what they don’t want, as opposed to all the ingredients of their sandwich?
A friend tried to argue it with me, and well, let’s just say it didn’t go very well for him.
What’s the point of so many names when we’re just going to be asked to, pretty much, create our own.
Perhaps they should consider, “Create your own sandwich,” instead of many different names. . .

SunitaG
SunitaG…
the newest, freshest face in personalized cards!
I came up with a name… yay! It was created especially for you. Let’s hope you see the name blossoming everywhere!
It’s a much more difficult process than one would think. I brainstormed many names; however, picking the perfect one was the hardest part. It was hard, but not impossible. =)
Now, I must construct my website and get creating.

The History of My Genius Idea!
How did I come up with this genius idea?
Well, it all happened overnight. My aunt and uncle’s 15-year anniversary was coming up and I wanted to do something special. I wanted to give them something that would get them reminiscing the good times we shared over the years. It had to be handmade, and something they could look back at over the years to come.
That’s when the brainstorming began. My best idea was to collect a bunch of pictures and create a personalized card. Not only did the card contain pictures, it contained pop-ups as well. It was really late at night, but I was so excited to get started on my creation that I couldn’t sleep! So I jumped out of bed and sketched… attempted to sketch my creation.
The next morning, I got to work! I had a lot of fun and was pleased with the outcome. My aunt and uncle loved the gift as well! Needless to say… Mission accomplished! Making these cards was fun, and giving them made me feel fabulous… therefore, I decided I’d like to launch my own business.
The next step… I’ll need a name and a logo. I better get cracking!

Welcome world!

Good morning!
11:22 a.m. on a rainy day. I woke up because I thought I had seen a ray of sunshine; it now turns out I was wrong! Oh well, the day will go on, as will my thoughts…
Communications for New Media Projects is one of my many classes for First Term, New Media Design and Web Development, taught by Val Gregory. On our first day of this class, Val told us to think up a topic, which we would like to blog about; something that we would have a lot to say about. My mind was going ballistic between topics since I have a lot to say about just about anything. When it came down to it though, I wanted to pick something that I was passionate about.
My long-term goal in life is to launch my own magazine; therefore, that was my first option to blog about. However, I figured it would be too much work for the time being; therefore, I brainstormed some more ideas. This lead to another passion of mine, which is creating personalized greeting cards. I give personalized a whole new meaning! When special occasions arise in my family, everyone knows who to turn to, to give it that customized zing. I am fond of giving gifts that rekindle memories of the receiver, and display their unique qualities. When I receive a gift that had this much thought in it, I feel so special! Come on now… who can say they don’t like to feel special!
Lunchtime! And I see sunshine!
Keep checking in, as I will be posting pictures of my work soon! Are you excited? I am!
Val, I’m looking forward to more and more blogging! Woohooo!
